As backpackers, we absolutely loved the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The upgraded suite on the second floor was a pleasant surprise, and the included meals were delicious. We enjoyed socializing with other guests in the common areas and the stunning views of the surrounding Taiga, Susitna River, and mountains made our stay even more memorable. The one well-marked hiking trail leading to a beautiful pond and scenic view of snow-capped mountains was a highlight as well.
Felt incredibly welcomed, no complaints whatsoever.

The cozy rooms were comfortable and clean, with shared bathrooms that were well-maintained. The friendly hosts provided excellent service, and the home-style meals were delicious. The lodge's location on the scenic Denali Highway offered breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains. The communal dining table and cozy lounge area added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. I also enjoyed the play structure and outdoor activities available for children.
The rental car restrictions for driving on the Denali Highway were a bit inconvenient.

We had an amazing stay at this rustic off the grid lodge on the Denali Highway. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was exceptional with breathtaking views of Taiga, the Susitna River, and the mountains. The room and food were exactly what we expected in a remote location, but the experience was worth it. The staff went above and beyond, even moving our luggage for us. We hope to return for a longer stay and enjoy more of what this wonderful place has to offer.

The location was breathtaking, with picturesque views of valleys and mountains. The cozy suite I stayed in was comfortable and had its own private bathroom. The communal dining area and living room were welcoming spaces to relax and socialize. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the family-style meals were delicious.
